Background & Problem Statement
Climate change is increasingly impacting vulnerable communities through erratic rainfall, rising temperatures, floods, and droughts. Rural and marginalized populations—especially smallholder farmers, women, and indigenous groups—are disproportionately affected due to limited access to resources, information, and adaptive technologies.
In many regions, communities lack the knowledge, infrastructure, and institutional support needed to effectively respond to climate risks. This leads to reduced agricultural productivity, water scarcity, food insecurity, and livelihood loss.
There is a critical need for community-driven, locally relevant, and sustainable solutions that empower people to adapt and build resilience against climate shocks.
Project Goal
To strengthen the resilience of vulnerable communities to climate change through participatory, sustainable, and locally driven adaptation strategies.
