Executive Summary
Millions of people living in remote and off-grid communities lack access to reliable electricity, limiting opportunities for education, healthcare, livelihoods, and economic development. Dependence on diesel, kerosene, and biomass also increases household costs, health risks, and greenhouse gas emissions.
This project aims to provide clean, affordable, and reliable renewable energy solutions to remote communities through decentralized systems such as solar mini-grids, solar home systems, and clean energy appliances. Over 24–36 months, the project will benefit 1,500 households, improve essential services, and strengthen community resilience while reducing carbon emissions.
