The Bodossaki Foundation, in its capacity as the Fund Operator for the European Economic Area (EEA) Grants NGO Fund Programme in Greece “We are all Citizens”, announces the first call for bilateral initiatives under measure (b) between the project promoters of the Programme and entities from the Donor states (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway).
This call aims to support the networking, exchange, sharing and transfer of knowledge, technology, experience and best practice between project promoters on the one hand and entities from the Donor states on the other hand.
The overall objective of the NGO Programme is to strengthen civil society development and to enhance the contribution of NGOs to social justice, democracy and sustainable development.
Objectives
Bilateral cooperation aims at:
- Widening the extent of cooperation between Greece and the Donor states
- Contributing to the achievement of shared results
- Increasing knowledge and mutual understanding
Expected Outcomes
- Advocacy and watchdog role developed
- Provision of welfare and basic services to defined target groups increased
- Democratic values, including human rights, promoted
- Strengthened capacity of NGOs and an enabling environment for the sector promoted
Evaluation Criteria
- Scope and value of the initiative proposed
- Expected results on the capacity building of applicant
- Sustainability of bilateral cooperation
- Return on investment (value for money)
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants are NGOs established in Greece which aim to act as project promoters and entities from the Donor states, which aim to act as project partners.
- the application was submitted on time.
- the application was submitted by an eligible applicant.
- the application was accompanied by all required supporting documents.
- the application and budget forms were completed correctly.
- the required grant does not exceed the maximum grant size.
