IAUS – Institute of architecture and Urban & Regional plannning of Serbia is pleased to organize 2nd International Scientific Conference on Regional Development-2013 under (RESPAG) Regional Development, Spatial Planning and Strategic Governeance at Belgrade, Serbia.
Participants can present only one paper although they may be co-authors in more papers. In the event of more than one abstract being accepted, applicants will be asked to withdraw abstracts as necessary.
In order to be eligible for presentation, authors whose abstracts are accepted will have to submit their full papers by 1 February, 2013. Papers that are sent later than this date cannot be scheduled for presentation.
There are no fees associated with abstract submission or reviewing process. However, the correct conference registration fee should be paid by the authors by April 22, 2013 in order for their papers to be scheduled for presentation and included in the conference programme.
Eligibility & Criteria–
- Anyone interested in presenting their research and/or professional experience in planning and related disciplines are welcome to participate in the Conference to share their work. We, therefore, invite submissions from academy/faculty members, research students, as well as professionals and researchers from government offices, the private sector, and NGOs.
- Presentations can be only in form of oral presentation with full paper.
- Abstracts submission should be made to the relevant track, which will then be reviewed by Track Co-Chairs. Contributors should complete all required information fields on the online submission system and follow the requirements below:
- Abstracts should be written in English, between 250-300 words.
- All text should be typed in Times New Roman, 10 pt, single line spacing, justified with a single line spacing.
- 5-8 keywords, headed by the words: Key words and separated by 1 line space from the abstract.
- Author(s) name(s) and all author affiliations should be included.
- The name of the presenting author must appear first on the list of authors and indicated by highlighting the name in bold. Contact email of presenting author should be included.
- Abstracts should be text only. Graphics, pictures or graphs should not be submitted.
- Abstracts should include:
- Title of Paper
- Author(s) – Presenting author’s name to be highlighted in bold
- Institutional Affiliation/Address/Email
- Abstract text (300 words maximum). Suggested subsections: context, central theme or hypothesis; methodology; expected outcomes and relevance of the work to planning education, practice or scholarship; preliminary bibliography.
- 5 to 8 key words
- References to all publication cited in the text should be presented in a list following the abstract body text. These should also be typed in Times New Roman 10 pt, single line spacing, with a blank line between each reference cited.
Application Procedure-
- Participants, who would like to present their work at the RESPAG 2013, are invited to submit an abstract for consideration by the Track Chairs.
- Abstract submission is only possible via Online Registration System.
- Registration is required for the submission of an abstract.
- No payment is required during the registration for abstract submission
- Please read carefully all the instructions available on the Call for Papers page before preparing your abstract.
- Abstracts cannot be edited after the submission deadline.
