The Global Fund for Children works to advance the dignity of children world. To pursue this mission, the organization makes small grants to innovative community-based organizations working with many of the world’s most vulnerable children, and by harnessing the power of children’s books, films and documentary photography to promote global understanding.
At The Global Fund for Children, the organization offers small grants to innovative community-based organizations working with the world’s most vulnerable children and youth. The organization also helps our grassroots partners to improve their sustainability, increase their visibility, develop their networks and grow and deepen their capacity to positively affect children’s lives.
The programs and services, fund give children access to education (Learning Portfolio); health services and psychosocial support (Healthy Minds and Bodies Portfolio); and ensure their protection from violence and exploitation (Safety Portfolio). The partners of the organization also work to create positive economic opportunities for youth (Enterprise Portfolio), and a small number of our grantees provide creative enrichment programs (Creative Opportunities Portfolio). Moreover, our grassroots partners do everything they can to let kids be kids.
