The fourth specialty conference on “Dredging and dredged material disposal”, Dredging 2012, will be organized in San Diego on the West Coast of the US October 22–25, 2012. The organizers of Dredging 2012 event are PIANC USA and the Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (COPRI ASCE).
The last meeting of the international forum took place 10 years before bringing together practitioners and professionals from developed and developing areas of the world. Many new issues have emerged and will be discussed and debated including the evolution of dredging to incorporate environmental solutions and critical engineering.
Abstracts are being sought regarding best practices and innovations in the field from Europe, North and South America and Asia. The theme of the conference is 40 years of Dredging and Environmental Innovation. The abstract submission deadline is January 23, 2012.
