Abstracts of papers for presentation are invited at the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies’ 17th European conference in Rotterdam from 13 to 15 November. The event will be hosted by Hydrographic Society Benelux.
The 3-day event is expected to attract a wide international audience drawn from different sectors of the hydrographic and related professions. Taking Care of the Sea’ is the main theme of proceedings which will be supported by a major exhibition of equipment and services as well as practical demonstrations, technical workshops and a series of social activities. Scheduled conference sessions will variously address the economic benefits of hydrography to the world at large at a time of changing technologies and extreme budgetary pressures.
