International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) is organizing “Power of the Pen” roundtable three-day event co-sponsored by the U.S. State Department. The goal of this program is to examine and overcome obstacles to ethical reporting, challenges to fair and thorough investigative journalism in the field of corruption and develop best practices based upon case studies with well-known journalists from the region and all other corners from the world. This roundtable will be conducted in Accra, Ghana.
Topics will range from the impact of corruption on fair and independent reporting, ethics, investigative reporting, legal frameworks, and best practice.

Benefits-
- Tuition Fee- The tuition fee will be covered by IACA
- Accommodation and Travel- IACA will cover all flight costs and the shuttle service from the airport in Accra to the venue/place of accommodation, as well as meals and incidental expenses. Accommodation will be arranged and covered by IACA.
Eligibility & criteria-
Applicants must have practiced principled journalism in the region of focus and currently be working in the field of print, broadcast or photographic media.
