Proposals are invited by Transparency International(TI) for project on preliminary analysis of the Tunisian system integrity in Tunisia. The objective of this proposal is to provide an overview of corruption challenges to an integrity system in Tunisia. The project duration will be up to 4 months.
Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organization leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 90 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.
Through a program of Transparency International for the Middle East and North Africa, the organization seeks to support initiatives that lead to a deeper understanding of corruption and tabulate concrete national and regional levels in the Middle East and North Africa. Based on the Secretarial Transparency International launches initiatives in the region to implement the analytical policy research in different sectors where corruption affects put plans to advocate and raise awareness depending on the results of this research.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Individual national Tunisian NGO/CSO or a coalition of national Tunisian NGOs/CSOs with an identified lead organization.
- Background and experience in carrying out research projects is an advantage. The research and writing should preferably be carried by staff or members of the NGO/CSO.
- Background and experience in running advocacy campaigns is an advantage.
- The language of the written report shall be in Arabic, French, or English. Transparency International encourages primary research and writing in Arabic for this proposal. Transparency International will translate the report into English for internal review.
Submission requirements-
Applicants should submit a resume of the organization experience or resumes of each organization experience along with a cooperation agreement and a proposal that includes-
- An outline of the proposed research, including a brief description of the proposed methodology and approach to the topic (in Arabic, English or French).
- A timeframe for deliverables.
- A breakdown of proposed costs for the project.
- A resume of the proposed lead researcher, preferably a staff person, for this project.
