The European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights – Country Based Support Scheme (CBSS) is being announced under Europe Aid. The major purpose of this program is to strengthen the role of civil society in promoting human rights and democratic reform, in supporting the peaceful conciliation of group interests and in consolidating political participation and representation.
Objectives:
- Enhance political representation and participation and
- Enhance the inclusiveness and pluralism of civil society
- Enhance the inclusiveness and pluralism of society through sports
- Enhance political representation and participation of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities
- Enhance political representation and participation of women and strengthen the capacities of women organisations in promoting and protecting their rights
- Enhance Serb-Serb dialogue in order to pursue common agendas for human rights and democratic reform
Funding may be requested for up to EUR 800.000,00.
Eligibility criteria:
- Be legal persons
- Be non-profit-making
- Be specific types of organizations such as: non-governmental organizations, professional associations, international (inter-governmental) organizations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation
- Be established in a Member State of the European Union or in a countries covered by Article 19 of IPA regulation
- Be organizations registered in Kosovo
- have a proven background and a minimum of 3 years of experience within the last 5 years
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
Note: Applicants and affiliated entity(ies) must register to PADOR to submit proposal.
