The Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA), Republic of Croatia invites grant applications for the national program entitled ‘Building Capacities of CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) for Ensuring Effective Implementation of the EU Standards in the Enforcement of Human Rights’. The specific objectives of this call are- to affirm CSOs as equal partners in ensuring consistent enforcement of human rights, and to build networks between CSOs, as well as inter-institutional cooperation and networks to help access to human rights of vulnerable groups.
Priorities
- Lot 1– Ensuring the enforcement of human rights of vulnerable groups and Croatian citizens in general to improve access to human rights of vulnerable groups.
- Lot 2– Ensuring access of the Roma national minority to human rights.
Grant request can be made in between EUR50,000 and EUR150,000 that can be 50%-95% of the total eligible costs of the action.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be legal person in non-profit making organization.
- Eligible organizations can be the non-governmental organizations or formal networks of non-governmental organizations of following status- associations, business associations, trade unions, foundations, legal entities of religious communities.
- Applying organization must be established in European Union Member State, European Economic Area Member State, Macedonia, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo; and other countries eligible under Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 of 31st July 2006 establishing an Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).
- Applicants must be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
- The proposed project should improve the protection of human rights in Croatia, which should lead to overall social and economic development of Croatia and the fulfilment of EU 2020 goals on employment, innovation, education, social inclusion.
- The proposed actions must take place in Croatia.
