It includes Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Turkey; and the Western Former Soviet Union (WFSU), which includes Belarus, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.
- South Africa – The program area seeks to empower poor and marginalized communities to unlock resources and realize their development needs and aspirations.
- United States – The program area seeks to increase the nonprofit and philanthropic sector’s responsiveness and capacity to address social and community needs.
- Global Philanthropy and Nonprofit Sector – The program area seeks to foster global platforms for philanthropy and the nonprofit sector that respond to the needs of local communities.
