The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation supports US state education agencies to implement promising education initiatives. The project is part of the foundation’s efforts to support state agencies so that these initiatives are implemented well, and that students and teachers get the support they need to succeed. The goal of this project is to discover new ways of collecting high-quality data on our outcomes.
The Foundation anticipates awarding between three and ten grant awards. Funding for – Staff time, Materials and related expenses, Travel will be considered. Gates Foundation grants are intended to accomplish charitable aims and therefore cannot be used to fund indirect costs (i.e., profit margin) for for-profit organizations.
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation works with thousands of partners in Africa, India, Europe, South America, and here in the United States. It is guided by the Gates family’s deeply held belief: that all lives have equal value. The goal is to find solutions for people with the most urgent needs, wherever they live.
Eligibility Information – Nonprofit and for-profit organizations will be considered for funding.
