European Development Days has announced video contest on Young voices against poverty: What would you change? Have your say. All video entries must first be uploaded to YouTube.
The objective of this contest is to focus on eradication of poverty and ensuring a sustainable development by engaging international organisations, business, political, academic and civil society leaders to shape a new development agenda.
It brings together thousands of development stakeholders, practitioners and advocates, in informal sessions for thought-provoking debates, exchanges of best practices, networking and brainstorming of creative solutions.
Prizes-
Applicants could be one of 4 lucky winners to win an all-expenses paid trip to Brussels to attend European Development Days, 26 – 27 November 2013, where your video will be screened. Prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories: 13 – 17 EU citizen, 13 – 17 non-EU citizen, 18 – 24 EU citizen, 18 – 24 non-EU citizen.
How to Enter?
- Create video in one of the 5 official contest languages: English, French, German, Portuguese or Spanish
- Upload video to YouTube
- Fill out the form above and share their video with us
- Get friends, family – everybody – to vote! The video with the most votes wins.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- To enter this contest participants must be between the ages of 13 and 24 at the time of entry.
- All video entries must be submitted in one of the 5 official contest languages: English, French, German, Portuguese or Spanish.
