European Union is accepting Concept Notes for its program ‘Aid to Uprooted People Program in Thailand’. The major objective of the program is to establish a European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar in order to increase and diversify exports and investment of EU businesses, in particular SMEs, to the country, and to the ASEAN Economic Community.
Grant request to be made under this call ranges from EUR2,600,000 to EUR2,700,000 which can be 50-90% of the total eligible costs of the action. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 36 months nor exceed 60 months.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be legal persons and business intermediary promoting international trade and investment and/or economic cooperation such as Chambers of Commerce; trade associations; public or parastatal bodies; business intermediary promoting international trade and investment and/or economic cooperation such as Chambers of Commerce; trade associations; public or parastatal bodies.
- Applicant must be established in a Member State of the European Union, in a Member State of ASEAN, or in any other partner country identified in the ICI Regulation No 1934/2006 as amended by EU Regulation 1338/2011.
- Applicant organization must be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
