The Delegation of the European Union to Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam and ASEAN invites grant applications from higher education institutions in the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region under the European Union (EU) Support to Higher Education in ASEAN Region (EU SHARE) program. The program aims to strengthen the regional cooperation, enhance the quality, regional competitiveness and internationalization of ASEAN higher education institutions contributing to an ASEAN Community in 2015 and beyond.
Grant request can be made between EUR9,300,000 and EUR9.600,000 which can be 95-100% of the total eligible cost of the project. The initial planned duration of an action must be at least 42 and at most 52 months.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be legal person on behalf of a non-profit-making organization.
- Applicant organizations must be public or private bodies active in the field of higher education from ASEAN and EU countries which are the non-profit organizations.
- Applicant organization must be established in a Member State of the European Union or ASEAN Member States.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate to have regularly carried out activities in the field of higher education.
- Applicants must be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
- Action must take place in ASEAN or EU Member States.
Note: Applicants must register in PADOR before submitting the proposal. The applicants must give their Europe Aid ID (EID) in the hard copy (paper version) proposal. Applicants are required to submit the concept note in an electronic format (CD-Rom) along with the sealed envelope of hard copy version to be considered for funding.
