The School of Oriental and African Sciences (SOAS) University of London, the Academy of Korean Studies is accepting applications from students undertaking a full-time postgraduate Korean Studies program for postgraduate bursaries. The value of bursary is up to £6,000 which covers the tuition fee of the student.
The support is offered for a period of one year with possibility of extension for MPhil/PhD candidates though new applicants are given the preference.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants on the following full-time programs are given preference – MA Korean Studies, MA Korean Literature, MPhil/PhD Korean Studies Research, MA History of Art.
- Applicants can also be from the following programs of study – current MPhil/PhD Korean Studies Research full-time students, students undertaking any other postgraduate degree related to Korean studies.
- Applicants can be the nationals of UK/EU and overseas.
Applicants besides current SOAS MPhil/PhD students must also submit complete application for admission before deadline. Complete application includes – transcripts, an explanation of the grading system for any degrees obtained outside of the UK, two references, CV and a personal statement. MPhil/PhD applicants must also submit a research proposal.
