The U.S Agency for International development (USAID)/Ghana has announced funding opportunity for Annual Program Statement (APS) entitled “Innovate for Health”. The objective of this program is to publicize USG plans to fund a limited number of programs through USAID/Ghana to research, introduce and scale-up innovative solutions to key health challenges as defined in the Program Summary and Objectives.

Priority Areas-
- Reduced under-5 mortality
- Reduced maternal mortality
- Increased contraceptive prevalence
- Improved nutritional status across individuals, households, and communities
- Reduced HIV prevalence rate
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Be organized under the laws of Ghana
- Have its principal place of business in Ghana
- Be majority owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of
- Ghana or be managed by a governing body, the majority of whom are citizens or lawful permanent residents of Ghana
- Not be controlled by a foreign entity or by an individual or individuals who are not citizens or permanent residents of Ghana. Meaning a majority ownership, power beneficiary interest, either directly or indirectly should not be given to a foreign entity
