The Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) is seeking call for applications in order to provide a training opportunity to journalists. NRGI helps people to realize the benefits of their countries’ endowments of oil, gas and minerals.
The program is designed for early- to mid-career journalists with a demonstrated interest in covering the extractive sectors of oil, gas and minerals. The program will run for six months and includes a series of individual and collective learning activities and professional support

Program Information
The program is divided into two lots: Course A and Course B
- Course A- It is the foundation course (an Africa regional workshop) which will take place in Ghana on 7-18 September 2015.
- Course B- It consists of three parallel national workshops in Ghana, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who work for media organizations based in Ghana, Tanzania and Uganda are eligible to apply for the program.
