Concept Notes invited by EU for improving access to information of public schemes in backward districts in India to reduce poverty in context of sustainable development, including pursuit of the Millennium Development Goals and other internationally agreed targets. The objective of the civil society actors component of the programme is to support operations aiming at promoting an inclusive and empowered society in partners countries in order to-
- Benefit populations out of reach of mainstream services and resources and excluded from policy making processes
- Strengthen the capacity of civil society actors in partner countries, with a view to facilitating their participation in defining and implementing poverty reduction and sustainable development strategies
- Facilities interaction between state and civil society actors in different context.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Be legal persons
- Be non profit making
- Be established in a member state of the EU or in India
- Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary
- Be non-sate actors constituted in accordance with the legislation in force in the country concerned.
- Be registered for atleast 5 years at the time of the submission of an application
- Be able to demonstrate that they have regularly carried out activities in the field of development of the kind covered by this programme at least during the last three years at the time of the submission of an application.
- Be able to demonstrate application of accountability and transparency measures within the organization itself.
How to apply?
- This is a restricted Call for proposal. In the first instance, only Concept Notes must be submitted for evaluation..
- Registration in PADOR is obligatory for the applicant of grants.
- PADOR is an online database in which organizations register themselves and update regularly their data, through Europeaid website.
- Before starting the registration of organization in PADOR, please read ” Quick Guide” available on the website. It explains the registration process.
