Instituted by the Good Governance Magazine, the Good Governance Award 2010 is dedicated towards individual excellence in governance and public service delivery using ICTs and e-Governance applications and platforms at National, State & Regional level. Awards are being conferred on pioneering steps and derivations having sustainable citizen impact from project initiation and implementation at both policy and technology leadership levels.
Nominations are invited from National and State administrative leaders / administrators including at district administration level, Municipal Corporations, Autonomous bodies including Public Sector Undertakings in India pioneered in governance project leadership using ICTs and e-governance applications.
Nominations are open to technology service providers showing exemplary practice in deployment and implementation of governance projects using ICTs and e-governance applications.
Awards for year 2010-11 will consider the initiatives implemented during 1 April 2009 to 31 March 2010. Special incremental efforts or enhancements to the earlier initiatives will also be considered.
Nominations are invited in the following key categories:
- Good Governance National Champion Award
- Good Governance National Technology Leadership Award
- Good Governance Champion Awards (3 each in 5 Zones)
- Good Governance Technology Leadership Award (3 each in 5 Zones)
