All interested organizations are invited to submit applications for “Power Africa Senior Advisors Group” Program under USAID. The mission of this program is to advance the Focus Country’s energy reform agenda.
USAID intends to provide approximately $6,000,000 in total funding for the Power Africa Senior Advisors Group Program.
Objectives-
- Identify, recruit, and prepare Senior Advisors and in-country Policy Advisors to support engagement with host government officials to advance reforms
- Develop country-plans for Senior Advisors Group engagement
- Provide technical and logistical support for Senior Advisors Group members
- Provide advice, guidance, management consulting to Focus Country government officials and institutions
- Manage reporting and analysis on best practices
Eligibility & Criteria-
- A graduate degree in business, international development, public administration or any applicable social science;
- At least ten years of senior level experience working in the private sector and/or on government policy and regulation;
- At least 5 years of team management experience in a developing country context, with a strong preference for prior work in Sub-Saharan Africa;
- Ability to work effectively with senior-level government officials and private sector leaders;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required;
- Experience preparing high quality documents;
- Proven track record in identifying challenges, developing innovative solutions, and achieving performance management results with clear metrics;
- Collaborative and strong leader with the ability to coordinate among various stakeholders and motivate personnel in difficult environments
