The Asian Development Bank’s “Promotion of growth from a gender perspective in its developing member countries of ADB’s Central and West Asia” re-announces a call for proposals in Kyrgyzstan for NGOs to develop a project aimed at strengthening the capacity of civil society in promoting equal benefits for women exposure to and participation in the development of fiscal policy, implementation and analysis.
The goal of the pilot project is to achieve women’s equal participation and benefits from development. Pilot project outputs and activities will focus on enhancing the capacities of civil society groups in promoting equal benefits, participation and influence by women in fiscal policy development, implementation and review.
The Pilot Project shall support the Investment Climate Improvement Program by strengthening civil society groups’ capacity to engage key stakeholders in active dialogue on policies related to business-environment improvement, and employment-creation.
All applicant organizations opting should meet the following criteria:
- The organization should be registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic
- Proven capacity in project management and has a track record for delivering timely outputs and quality results.
- Proven capacity in implementing projects relevant to the above mentioned thematic area.
- Effective liaison and working relationship with government line agencies, CSOs and other relevant partners.
- Committed leadership and adequate management system.
All interested organizations must submit their project proposals in English by 22:00 Bishkek time August 10, 2011. All project proposals must be submitted online.
