Oxfam GB Nepal is intends to empanel potential consultants and firms for supply of various services. Oxfam is a registered charity in England and Wales (No. 202918) which believes that everyone is entitled to a life of dignity and opportunity, works with poor communities, local partner organizations, volunteers, and supporters to make this a reality. Oxfam GB has been working in Nepal since the early 1980s in various development initiatives to overcome poverty and suffering of socially and economically excluded poor specially focused on women. Oxfam works in collaboration with Government of Nepal and various NGOs , CBOs and communities in the sector of Development, Humanitarian And Advocacy & Campaigns.
Potential consultants and consultancy firms are requested to submit their EXPRESSION OF INTEREST on the following themes- to HR Department.
- Baseline survey (Broad themes include: livelihoods/food security; DDR-preparedness and response: governance and women leadership)
- Project Evaluation (Mid/Final/Impact Evaluation)
- Research and Studies (Empowerment of women, youth and children; change brought about their empowerment; process of change; impact of climate change adaptation and advocacy; natural resources management; gender enterprises in market: agriculture finance, food security & nutrition)
- Translation/interpretation/editing in the English and Nepali languages
- Video Documentation and case studies collection (Capture best practices; success stories; changes and impacts brought about Oxfam’s work: how changes happened)
- Stationary & Project Audit
- Training & Facilitation ( REFLECT, advocacy, M & E, gender, organizational development, participatory planning/budgeting, leadership, forum/interactive theater methods, proper use of social accountability tools mechanisms; gender auditing; natural resource management, wall newspaper production, REFLECT, PCVA, EMMA, HEA, finance management, management consultancy, accounting service)
