Federation of Young Advocates please to invite applications for the 2012 Search for Outstanding Young Advocates which will recognize individuals or organization that has made concrete and significant contributions to the advancement of youth development and empowerment on the following categories: Education (Academic or Non-Academic), Peace and Human Rights, Youth Development/Empowerment (Good Governance, Legislation), Media (Entertainment, Information Technology, Journalism), Culture and the Arts, Volunteerism (Community Organizing/Service), Sports, Health and Environment, Labour and Entrepreneurship.
To submit a nomination, please fill out this form and mail it to the Federation of Young Advocates by post. Please include in your mail the updated resume of the nominee.
Eligibility & criteria–
- The nominee should be in his/her advocacy for not less than 1 year with proper documentation of the existence of the organization or otherwise if individual.
- The nominee must not be over 30 years old or less than 15 years old before September 30, 2012. The nominee should submit together with his/her application the photocopy of his/her NSO Authenticated Birth Certificate.
- The nominee should be endorsed by at least two individual or organization.
- The nominee should submit his/her updated resume with 2 recent 2×2 pictures (white background).
- The nominee should be a Filipino citizen.
- In not less than 500 words the nominee should tell us something that describes her/himself.
Every qualified nominee is encouraged to prepare a 15 minutes power point presentation to how he/she have helped the community in his/her specific category. Please include actual photos and other necessary information relating to your advocacy.
