The Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA), Republic of Croatia is accepting grant applications from eligible entities on Building Local Partnerships for Open Governance and Fight against Corruption in Responsible Management of Natural Resources. The major objective of the call is to affirm civil society organizations as equal partners in ensuring open governance and transparency in managing public goods and natural resources.
The grant request can be made in between EUR50,000 and EUR200,000 which can be 50-95% of the total eligible costs of the action. The initial planned duration of an action should fall between 12 to 24 months.
Thematic Areas:
- Strengthening sectoral partnerships of CSOs and public administration at local level in sustainable management of public goods and natural resources.
- Strengthening participatory and sustainable management of public goods and natural resources involving citizens, civil society organizations and other local community stakeholders.
- Building capacities of CSOs for surveillance activities over the implementation of the relevant legal framework related to sustainable management of public goods and natural resources.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be legal person in non-profit making organization.
- The eligible organizations are- non-government organizations or or formal networks of non-governmental organizations of the following legal status: associations, business associations, trade unions and foundations, legal entities of religious communities.
- Applicants must be established in a Member State of the European Union or a Member State of the European Economic Area, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, including Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99 as well as of other countries eligible under Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006 of 31st July 2006 establishing an Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).
- Applicants must be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
- Actions must take place in Croatia.
- Applications must be submitted in English language. Hand-written concept-notes will not be accepted.
