Proposals are invited for United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) in the Mediterranean Region to solve problem regarding sustainable development and to promote practical solutions. The Solutions Network mobilizes scientific and technical expertise from academia, civil society, and the private sector in support of sustainable development problem solving at local, national, and global scales. The goal of this program is to strengthen local and national problem solving for sustainable development by empowering universities and research centers to play more active and effective roles.
University of Siena will convene leading scholars, students and practitioners from around the Mediterranean Region on 3-5 July 2013 to identify and launch transformative solutions in the Mediterranean Region.
