Justification
This activity will promote interest, collaboration and synergy between NGO partners and local government institutions. It will also lead to effective utilization of local resources and prevent any duplication of efforts between NGOs and government agencies.
Role of Partners
Proponent Organization: Proponent Organization will take the lead role in designing and implementing this training component for local governmental institutions.
Partner NGOs: Partner NGOs will be involved in facilitating this process and in building their relationship with local governmental agencies.
(12) Organizing Dissemination Workshops/Conferences
The project will organise dissemination three local workshops at district-level and two national-level conference at local and national level to disseminate information about best practices and lessons learned from the action. Further, this activity will bring interested organizations from other parts of the country at a common platform to share their experiences and pave the way for new partnerships and synergy development. The events will also provide an opportunity for the EC to increase its visibility and presence in the region. Further, the activity will promote the policy advocacy efforts to lobby for recognition of human rights, gender rights and abolition of all forms of gender-based discrimination within the constitutional framework and subsequent policies of the Government of Nepal.
Justification
This activity will provide an outlet for building synergy with other I/NGOs, donor agencies and the government. It is also a process to understand other projects and interventions and avoid duplication and develop partnerships for increased effectiveness of the action. This activity will also help in influencing key government officials in making policy decisions, as information sharing is one of the main objectives of this activity.

Proponent Organization: Proponent Organization will take the lead role planning, designing and organizing this activity at the national-level
Partner NGOs: Partner NGOs will plan, design and organize this activity at the local level in each of their districts.
