Proposals are accepted for Good Governance – Country Based Support Scheme under EuropeAid. The objective of this program is to contribute to the development and consolidation of good governance in China particularly in the field of access to social and economic benefits for internal migrant workers and the vulnerable segments of this population.
Objectives-
- To contribute improving labour conditions, technical skills and dialogue among concerned parties
- To contribute to the social integration and to the improvement of the living conditions of the migrants workers and their families
- To promote social dialogue at central and local level between Trade Unions and Employers organizations
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 300.000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 24 months
Thematic areas-
- Civil Society capacity building
- Labour conditions defence by the enhancement of mediation/negotiation capabilities
- Social cohesion and socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups
- Legal counselling
- Advocacy and information campaigns on individual or collective workers conditions and success stories
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons or an entity without legal personality
- be non-profit-making
- belong to one of the following categories as defined per article 10 of the Regulation (EC) No 1889/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council-
- civil society organisations, including non-governmental organisations, public sector operators, local authorities, international (inter-governmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation.
- natural person when it is necessary to achieve the objectives of this Regulation and be established in a Member State of the European Union or in the PR of China or be nationals of a Member State of the European Union and of the beneficiary country or in a member state of the European Economic Area (EEA) or of an accession or official candidate country as recognised by the EU . This obligation does not apply to international organisations
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
