UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) is calling for proposals to design a digital simulation game with high-end graphics intended to help undergraduate students in economics and sustainability studies to understand the principles and implications of the Inclusive Wealth Index.
UNESCO’s MGIEP is dedicated to promoting education for peace, sustainable development and global citizenship (EPSG) with a focus on the Asia-pacific region. The Institute is the lead agency for strengthening capacities of member states and other relevant stakeholders on EPSG, and linking knowledge, research, and innovation to the work of the United Nations on the global education and development agenda.
Eligibility criteria
The submitting teams should have domain experts from the fields of Economics, Ecology and Gaming.

All applications should include the following information:
- A cover letter with contact information, including phone number, email and mailing address
- A work plan with a timeline, keeping in mind that a prototype is expected by December 2015, and a fully functional game by fall of 2016
- Estimated budget, including overheads
- Description and sample of similar work done previously
- Detailed CV of all members of the team
