Deadline: Ongoing
The Ernest Cook Trust is inviting applicants for its Educational Grants Programme in order to support children and young people. The educational grant programme is divided in following two categories:
- Small Grants Programme supports state schools and small registered charities which would like to undertake projects which meet the Trust’s objectives and require a small amount of pump-priming in order for such projects to take place.
- Large Grants Programme aimed at more comprehensive education programmes. The range of the programme is wide; over the years education projects linked to theatres, art galleries and orchestras have been supported, as have those covering a wide range of environmental and countryside projects.
The Ernest Cook Trust, one of the UK’s leading educational charities, is very unusual in being a land-based trust which has education as its sole charitable object. The endowment of the Trust provides the income for the educational grants programme.
