The Resource Alliance is organizing the International Workshop on Resource Mobilization (IWRM) from 25 to 28 October 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand.
What is IWRM?
The IWRM is a 3-4 day conference focused on providing comprehensive training in all aspects of resource mobilization and sustainable fundraising techniques. Through a vibrant mixture of hands-on ‘how to’ workshops and high-energy plenaries, our aim is to equip participants with a thorough grounding in resource mobilization theory, as well as a set of practical techniques with which to build their fundraising capacity.
From sessions on getting started and raising your first funds to advanced classes on drafting strategic fundraising and marketing plans, our programme has something for everyone, both beginner and experienced practitioner alike.
Who can participate in this Program?
The IWRM is suitable for heads of civil society organizations/ NGOs and institutions responsible for the sustainability of their organizations; directors and board members who are responsible for ensuring that their organizations have adequate resources; programme and project coordinators who are also responsible for mobilizing, managing and accounting for project finances and other resources; directors of fundraising, development and communications; fundraising, marketing and grant Officers/ managers; representatives from government institutions and Ministries with the responsibility of mobilizing, managing and accounting for finances and other non-financial resources;representatives from trusts, foundations, and charity networks interested in learning more about the fundraising sector; representatives of commercial organizations operating in the charity fundraising sector; all those whose job involves mobilizing, using and accounting for resources and managing their donor relations; individuals who want to build their careers in fundraising; and resource mobilization and fundraising consultants who want to get refreshed.
