The 29th Programme Coordinating Board meeting will be held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland from 13-15 December 2011. Members of civil society can register to participate in the meeting as Observers.
The draft agenda (EN | FR) for the three day meeting includes a presentation of the NGO Delegation’s annual report, a follow up to the 2011 High-Level Meeting, a progress report on the Global Plan Towards the Elimination of New HIV Infections Among Children by 2015 and Keeping their Mothers Alive, discussions on the UBRAF funding matrix, Second Independent Evaluation, and UNAIDS technical support, as well as a full day of speakers and debates on “HIV and Enabling Legal Environments”
Please note that you should not register for the meeting unless you can obtain your own source of funding to attend. Observers to the PCB meeting are required to make their own travel arrangements and to cover all of their expenses, including air fare and their stay in Geneva. Registration does not automatically grant access; all Observers must be approved by the UNAIDS Executive Director and chair of the Board.
