The Quantum Foundation is inviting organizations working in Palm Beach Country for the basic needs of communities in Florida.
Quantum Foundation is a private grant making organization that funds approved charities and certain government agencies in Palm Beach County, Florida.
The foundation’s mission is to inspire and fund bold initiatives that improve the health of Palm Beach County. Its funding supports those organizations which provide health care, help people who need health care, and educate others about health care.
Goal
The foundation’s goal is to increase health care access, improve health education, enhance the health care workforce, and support basic needs efforts in Palm Beach County.
Size of Grants
The grant size will be up to $25,000.
Focus Areas
- Provision of health care services at primary care access points
- Improvements to the health system infrastructure
- Delivering health information to consumers about health benefits, disease management or navigation of the health system
- Professional development opportunities and career ladders
- Assistance to meet basic needs through the Quantum in the Community initiative
- Projects that look at social and economic factors outside the traditional health care system that affect the health and wellbeing of Palm Beach County residents
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for the grant, the applicant must:
- be a not-for profit organization, accredited school or university or a unit of governmental or a public agency.
- have a 501(c)(3) IRS designation
- annual budget of $500,000 or less
- have been working in Palm Beach County for a minimum of six months
