The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is calling applications to develop own project tackling abortion stigma. These grants for youth-led projects, is up to applicant to decide what they would use the money for.
USD $8000 for up to five months is the maximum funding amount but many projects will work with a shorter time frame and smaller budget than this.
IPPF aims to improve the quality of life of individuals by providing and campaigning for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through advocacy and services, especially for poor and vulnerable people. IPPF works to ensure that women are not put at unnecessary risk of injury, illness and death as a result of pregnancy and childbirth, and it supports a woman’s right to choose to terminate her pregnancy legally and safely.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for a grant to develop a project on abortion stigma and young people’s access to abortion services applicant need to be:
- A young person/group of young people currently volunteering for an IPPF Member Association. Before applying, applicant will need agreement from their Member Association, which can only support a maximum of two applications.
- Under 25 years old (as of April 2015)
- Able to complete an application form in English, French or Spanish.

Applicants need to share their application with Member Association and when complete it needs to be sent via email before the mentioned deadline.
