The European Instrument for Democracy and Human rights (EIDHR) is inviting applications for Country Based Support Scheme in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aim of this program is to strengthen the role of civil society in promoting human rights and democratic reform, in supporting the peaceful conciliation of group interests and in consolidating political participation and representation.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 1.000.000
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be non-governmental organisations or international (inter-governmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation . However, in case of a multi-beneficiary grant, an International Organisation cannot be the applicant
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or candidates or potential candidates for accession as recognised by the EU or in a Member State of the European Economic Area. This obligation does not apply to international organisations
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
