Applications are invited by the World Vision International from eligible and deserving applicants for job/vacancy of Protection Cluster Co-Facilitator. This post will be based in Goma, North Kivu, Congo – Democratic Republic of. Kindly note that duration of this position is 1 year.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
Required
• Masters degree in International Development/Social Sciences/ Law
• Experience of advocacy and representation in complex working environments
• Experience of protection programming, in a management or advisory capacity
• Experience of working in the humanitarian cluster system, and strong understanding of the role of clusters with humanitarian systems
• Experience of developing and implementing tools and systems
• Facilitation or Training of Trainers experience
• Fluency in written and spoken French, working knowledge of English
• Strong analytical, negotiating, networking and strategic thinking skills
Preferred
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritize
• Capacity and willingness to travel extensively in North Kivu for up to 50% of the time often in areas with limited amenities and infrastructure
• Collaborative team player able to work with and galvanize differing actors interests and mandates
• Humanitarian Experience in Africa preferably in DRC
