Mercy Corps has invited applications from eligible and deserving applicants for job/vacancy of Infrastructure Director. The location of this job will be based in Hargeisa, Woqooyi Galbeed, Somalia. The nature of this position is full-time/regular.
Qualifications Skills & Attrubutes
1. Advanced University Degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field.
2. Seven (7) years of professional work experience with an international organizations preferably at management level.
3. Strong technical experience in infrastructure design and supervision
4. Previous experience in Somalia and working with other partners is an added advantage.
5. Fluency in English required. Knowledge of Somali language an advantage.
6. Knowledge of the latest developments and technology in infrastructure development and related fields.
7. Must have proven analytical, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills.
8. Demonstrative leadership and teamwork abilities.
9. Computer skills and preferably
10. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
