Required Skills and Experience
Minimum Education
- Bachelors
Degree Title
- University degree or technical certificate in data processing, management and analysis; or university degree in social and/or behavioral sciences with advanced training in data management and analysis.
Minimum Experience
- 1 Year(At least three years of work experience in evidence based planning for communication, and/or research, monitoring and evaluation; or experience in data management within data driven projects or programs; or extensive field experience in data collection, management, analysis, and reporting.)
Salary Range
- PKR. 125,000 to 150,000/month
Purpose of the Post
- The position will support and work closely with the Polio Communication for Development officer to manage, coordinate and analyze communication data, ensuring the timely and effective use of data in program decision making. The position will be responsible for the data collection, monitoring, and evaluation of communication activities and will serve as the polio communication data focal point in the province.
Major Duties and Responsibiities
- Liaise with District Health Communication Support Officers (DHCSO) and Union Council Communication Officers (UCO)for data planning, analysis, and action and to ensure that data is accurate and delivered on time.
- Ensure the effective implementation of UNICEF’s communication monitoring and evaluation system and coordination with provincial government, WHO, NGOs, and COMNet staff for seamless data sharing, collection and analysis.
- Share and interact with the larger provincial polio team as well as the PCO/ISB polio data and monitoring and evaluation team for analysis and planning purposes; specifically including engagement with the UNICEF provincial polio communication and media staff to ensure that all communication and social mobilization activities are data driven and are measured for impact.
- Coordinate with the training consultant/officer to ensure highest quality standards in data training for all COMNet staff.
- Coordinate with the research, monitoring and evaluation officer in the PCO/ISB to ensure that all research activities are monitored including liaison and the provision of relevant guidance to third party data and research contractors.
- Conduct regular field visits for monitoring and validation/cross checking the data collected by the field staff/partners. This would involve conducting rapid focus groups and in depth interviews (etc).
