World Vision International has invited applications from qualified and suitable applicants for the job/vacancy of Regional Child Health Now Specialist – LACRO. This is an local role that will be based in the country of the successful candidate within the region (Latin America and the Caribbean) under a local contract. Please note that this position is Family-Spouse with Children. The duration of this job is 2 years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required
- Law, sociology, political science, or other related field degree
- A successful track record in developing and implementing advocacy campaigns
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- 5 years experience in advocacy, communications, and/or health policies and programs; and experience of developing this capacity in other people
- Experience of working with different offices across different national boundaries.
Preferred:
- Masters degree in human rights public policy international development or relations, sociology or other related field
- Portuguese and French
- Practical advocacy campaign and health experience in different national contexts particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean
- Project Management experience.
- Experience of managing a network and working virtually with various stakeholders.
