The Ford Foundation is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Global Compensation & Mobility Manager based in New York, USA.
The Global Compensation & Mobility Manager is the internal expert on compensation, and is responsible for designing and managing the organization’s global compensation strategy.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Global Compensation & Mobility Manager will perform the following functions-
- Oversee salary administration for all global staff, job evaluation, executive compensation, and incentive plan administration.
- Work with outside compensation consultants to ensure that the foundation’s compensation structure is in line with the market, and makes recommendations for strategic changes to the foundation’s compensation plan.
- Manage a mobility program for internal staff including relocation, international assignments and immigration, as well as managing the budget administration for the department and foundation wide benefits.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and a minimum 7 years’ experience domestic and international compensation administration and analysis
- 2+ years’ project and people management experience
- Strong knowledge of market pricing, job evaluation tools and techniques and salary administration
- Knowledge of implementing, managing and supporting global mobility programs: expatriate, immigration and relocation, preferred
- Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data
- Strong experience conducting compensation surveys
- CCP or course work toward the CCP preferred
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including analysis and modeling expertise
- Ability to present compellingly to management and employees
- Strong analytical skills; ability to make recommendations based on data analysis and data relationships
- Ability to process large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives or activities while meeting deadlines
- Highly proficient in HRIS , Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access applications; experience developing meaningful PowerPoint presentations to effectively “tell the story”
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong consulting and customer service skills
- Ability to establish, build and maintain positive working relationships and collaborative partnerships with members of the HR function and other internal/external partners.
