Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Chief Technology Officer in Afghanistan.
The mission of AKDN is to work to improve the welfare and prospects of people in the developing world, particularly in Asia and Africa, without regard to faith, origin or gender.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Chief Technology Officer will perform the following functions-
- Manages and motivates teams under his responsibilities.
- Defines a budget for the Technical department, report it to the CEO for validation and make sure that there will be no overspending on it.
- Supervises and validates the engineering and the implementation plan and roll-out, including site negotiations.
- Supervises and validates the maintenance plan and roll-out.
- Defines in collaboration with his team the KPI for the network (drop rate…).
- Organizes the reporting process and report result to general management.
- Arbitrates decisions within the Technical department.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- At least 10 years of professional experience.
- Master’s degree in Telecommunication.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent knowledge of Telecom and GSM environment.
- Ability to manage a group, to give guidelines and objectives.
- Ability to work simultaneously on numerous and various projects.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to resist to stressful situations.
- Performance oriented.
- Ability to make Good relationship.
