Global Communities is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Grants and Procurement Officer in Gaziantep, Turkey.
The Grants and Procurement Officer will be responsible to support daily administration, implementation, and compliance of all small grants under this program, while building the capacity of grantees to better understand grant administration and compliance.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Grants and Procurement Officer will perform the following functions-
- Support small grant administration, including drafting and reviewing grant agreements, reviewing grantee deliverables, and ensuring compliance.
- Support procurement processes, including drafting/reviewing RFPs and RFQs, conducting bid analyses and evaluations, drafting procurement contracts, and reviewing contract deliverables.
- Contribute to work plans, donor reports, success stories, and other deliverables as required.
- Draft and review sub-grants, sub-grant budgets, grantee programmatic and financial reports, and grant payment documentation.
- Maintain accurate and complete files of small grants documentation.
- Review small grant activities for compliance with USG rules and regulations, as well as Global Communities’ policies.
- Provide training and mentoring to grantees on grant administration and compliance.
- All other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- A Masters degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of international development experience, at least 2 of which are specifically focused on grants, contracts, and/or compliance.
- Prior experience in grant administration, compliance, and/or procurement.
- Proficiency in DFID rules and regulations; Experience with DFID grants and procurements required.
- Experience with USAID grants and procurement in addition to DFID, preferred.
- Experience working with local national staff and building local capacity.
- Prior experience in the MENA region desirable.
- Fluency in English, working knowledge of Arabic and/or Turkish highly desirable.
