Oxfam International is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Finance Analyst and Support; Fund Manager in Oxford, UK. The duration for the post is of 12 months.
The Finance Analyst and Support; Fund Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the investment fund, and will provide strategic financial advice to senior management.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Fund Manager will perform the following functions-
- Responsible for the management and administration related to the OIF and the support and administration of the International Investment Committee (50%). Operates as the official liaison between the IIC and applicants.
- Works on the overall coordination of the budget planning, monitoring and the preparation of periodic financial reporting for management review; ensures up-to-date files necessary to ensure accurate and timely financial records (including those components linked to specific grants, restricted or designated funding), checks payments and invoices and submission of billing documentation, legal, contractual (and back donor/affiliate) obligations, and takes action when to ensure that such documentation is submitted, etc. Discusses and prepares financial matters with manager and officers, and submits to Director for decision making.
- Financial data analysis, of current and new affiliates (15%). Prepares and presents financial data analysis, and ensures in-team coordination with relevant staff members about non-financial issues. Responds to requests for data analysis but also has the space to do so unsolicited.
- Practical financial support to multi-year budget development of new affiliates (15%). Provides practical financial support to new affiliates via the adequate channels (mostly the Confederation Development Manager), challenges numbers and develops solution oriented approaches.
- Developing ideas to secure funding for new and existing affiliate development, gathering information to that effect, liaising intelligently and trust inspiring.
- Provides practical financial support to affiliates via the adequate channels, challenges and checks numbers and develops solution oriented approaches and proposals.
- Engaging with affiliates when and if needed, and be deployed to support financial planning, in consultation with manager.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Solid financial analysis skills, analytically sharp; problem solving skills.
- Very effective team worker; ability to liaise with a wide range of people, both internally and externally and at many levels, with credibility, tact and diplomacy; work in a multi-disciplinary and network environment.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to cope with numerous and simultaneous demands, and proficient at setting priorities able to work in a structured manner toward agreed deadlines.
- Ability to strike a fine balance between critical engagement and the need to get things done.
- Ability to strike the balance between overall pictures and details.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; convincing and empowering attitude.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and another Oxfam language (French, Spanish, Portuguese).
- Computer savvy.
