Operations Director at Operation Hope Foundation, Cambodia

The Operation Hope Foundation (OHF) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Operations Director based in Cambodia.

The Operations Director (“OD”) will be the senior staff responsible for all of OHF’s overseas operations.

The OHF’s mission is to transform the lives of children and the poor in developing countries through projects with a high benefit-cost ratio.

Key Job Responsibilities

The Operations Director will perform the following functions-

Staff planning, recruitment, management and training for all OHF’s overseas senior staff. Because of the unique nature of the work undertaken by OHF, finding the right staff is a big challenge.
Work closely with Board to ensure all overseas operations staff are performing to a certain level, meet the goals set up for them, provide training and mentoring and to remove poorly performing staff.
Staff must execute the tasks as laid out in their job responsibilities and submit regular reports.
Optimize the management of existing children’s homes at Cambodia, Kathmandu, Nepal and Thailand as well as lead development of new centres in Pokhara, Nepal and possibly other countries. Explore new projects like non-residential children programme.
Optimize the management of CASE training centre in Cambodia and start CASE in Thailand and possibly other countries.
Ensure our programmes meet the needs of the community and that there is no fraud.
Ensure efficient execution of all community development activities including grant projects.
Expand existing and develop new and relevant community projects for Cambodia, Thailand and Nepal and possibly other countries.
Create meaningful experience for volunteers. Overseas staff must be well trained to handle volunteers and meet their expectations.
Support the Board in developing the strategy: identifying community needs, finding the local resources and team to carry out the programmes.
