Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Senior Portfolio Management Officer in Manila, Philippines.
The Senior Portfolio Management Officer will be responsible to lead the subunit handling procurement statistics, project classification systems and approval reports.
The ADB aims for an Asia and Pacific free from poverty.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Senior Portfolio Management Officer will perform the following functions-
- Serve as focal point for ADB-wide operations data on (i) project, grant and Technical Assistant (TA) approvals, (ii) procurement statistics; (iii) project classification.
- Supervise the team within the Unit in monitoring and preparing periodic and ad hoc reports on (i) approvals information for sovereign and no sovereign operations, and (ii) procurement statistics and posting of contracts awarded.
- Coordinate and provides quality assurance in the preparation of key reports (e.g. Statement of ADB’s Operation, Constituency Reports, Summary Report on Approved (A) Preparatory Technical Assistance Projects Not Exceeding $1,500,000, (B) Technical Assistance Projects Not Exceeding $225,000 and (C) TA Cluster Subprojects; Board Constituency Reports).
- Contribute and supervises the preparation of inputs to ADB’s Annual Report, Quarterly Portfolio Update, Annual Portfolio Performance Report, statistical data for ADB brochures, fact sheets, and publications, Development Effectiveness Review.
- Provide validated data and analysis on project and TA processing, approvals, and procurement contract awards and processing time.
- Support the preparation of periodic and ad hoc queries/reports to the Board, Management, and other departments.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline, preferably with advanced training.
- At least 8 years relevant experience in monitoring of project processing and portfolio/project management, and at least 4 years of supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of ADB’s project processing, procurement, portfolio management, and related indicators and systems.
- In-depth knowledge on ADB’s financial systems (e.g. LFIS, TAIS, GFIS).
- Good knowledge of statistical concepts, and methods.
- Good knowledge of ADB’s operations, business process, and project administration instruction.
- Effective report-writing and communication skills in English.
