IREX is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Business Developer in Rabat, Morocco.
The Business Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with employers in the region with an eye towards promoting opportunities for private sector engagement with USAID Career Center.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Business Developer will perform the following functions-
- Research new partnership opportunities to help aid in the placement of youth into jobs and internships.
- Meet with employers in the region and follow-up with emails and phone calls.
- Negotiate and draft formal partnership agreements with employers.
- Collect information related to changes in the labor market and recruitment trends in Marrakech.
- Work closely with the Career Center staff in Marrakech to facilitate opportunities for the private sector to participate in Center events, including job fairs and employer site visits for youth.
- Track employer engagement with the Centers through the program participant tracking tool and generate reports on employer involvement with the Career Center.
- Collaborate with Center Directors to draft and disseminate surveys to employers.
- Participate in program events taking place in the region, including occasional travel to Rabat.
- Participate in regular work sessions with colleagues based in the partner regions to share lessons learned best practices and ensure coherence within the Program.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel within Morocco will be required.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or human resources is preferred.
- 5 years of experience working in the private sector or related to business development.
- Excellent knowledge of Morocco’s higher education and vocational education systems is preferred.
- Experience with event planning and promotion desirable.
- Ability to give effective presentations and write technical reports.
- Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Good knowledge of Morocco’s socio-economic context.
- Business language proficiency, written and spoken, in French and, preferably, English.
