World Vision (WV) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Communications Officer in Sangkat Chak Angre Krom, Cambodia. The duration for the post is of 2 years.
The Communications Officer is responsible for developing internal communications plans, materials and briefings on a variety of topics and in Partnership with various global stakeholders.

Key Jobs Responsibility
The Communications Officer will perform the following functions-
- Support the process of telling the organizational story and communicating key priorities to leaders and staff, by assisting with the execution of the communications strategy.
- Activities include creating communications plans and strategies, writing articles and creating communications tools; creating, maintaining and updating ventral [SharePoint] sites; managing content libraries; creating and editing videos and photos; counseling key priority Partnership and GC teams and supporting priority communications plans for key internal partners, and serving as a key point person with regional and national communications teams and GC teams.
- Contribute to the measurement and evaluation of internal communications activities, through metrics, surveys, and focus groups and evidenced based evaluations.
- Prepare, guide or review written and visual material, briefings, announcements, Q&As and other communications products as needed and requested by or with the approval of Director. Enable teams to create quality communications.
- Strengthen a network of internal communicators; create opportunities for capacity building, skill transfer and collaboration. And coordinate with news contributors across the organization to advice on writing for, and communicating through Partnership-wide channels.
- Ensure appropriate strategic use of Partnership communications channels to communicate in an integrated way.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or a related client-services field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years working in internal communications, media or public relations, or field communications, preferably in a global and multi-cultural environment.
- Experience with internal communications and /or change communications or change management is preferred.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills; able to work with people at all levels and across cultures.
- Ability to work with senior leaders a plus.
- Good networker and influencer, comfortable working in a matrix structure or with multiple reporting lines, effective at working with others to ensure solid internal communications practices are utilized.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
