World Vision International (WVI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Programme Coordinator-Knowledge Management in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The duration for the post is of 1-2 years.
The Programme Coordinator-Knowledge Management will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager – Programme Manager in the management of the Programme Unit to administer, coordinate and close the programme.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Programme Coordinator-Knowledge Management will perform the following functions-
- Ensure effective communications, visibility and knowledge management of the RIWASH project information (photography, videos & digital files to be uploaded to the knowledge management site).
- Support OPM and project team in preparing concept notes, Term of Reference, Agreements and other project related documents.
- Support programme staff in organizing and managing seminars, workshops, conferences.
- Produce reports and stories of the seminars/workshops organized by the project.
- Release monthly newsletter for RIWASH 3 project.
- Prepare and produce two publications annually.
- Provide technical support to the project team in producing various evaluation and knowledge products of the project.
- Ensure proper documentation of the communications materials and knowledge products.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the project management unit and NPM as per need of the programme.
- Prepare and edit press releases, programme related progress reports and documents.
- Assist OPM to prepare quarterly progress report, annual progress report and other reporting requirements.
- Work closely with the M&E specialist to strengthen results management and reporting.
- To understand and implement World Vision International Mission Statement, Ministry Policies, Vision Statement and Strategy.
- Establish and maintain relationships with institutional and community stakeholders and build their capacity to achieve project objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- University Degree in Social Sciences/Mass Communications or related discipline.
- Qualifications and Training in technical sector like WASH, gender, peace building.
- 3-4 years field experience preferably in the NGO sector.
- Photography and good writing skills with experience working with media will be an asset.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in both English and Tamil is a must.
- A good operational knowledge of Microsoft Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and ability to use email.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel to the field.
- Nationality of Sri Lanka.
