Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation in India.
The Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation will take a lead in developing a reliable, consistent set of outcome indicators to measure the impact and successes for schools and other non-formal education programmes of AKES,I.
The mission of AKDN is to work to improve the welfare and prospects of people in the developing world, particularly in Asia and Africa, without regard to faith, origin or gender.
Key Jobs Responsibility
The Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation will perform the following functions-
- Develop the overall framework for the education related Monitoring and Evaluation System along with the guidelines and key indicators to identify, monitor and track the critical success factors for AKES,I.
- Design the tools for data inputs and integration mechanism from individual school units / programmes into the overall M&E system incorporating cross checks and balances for data integrity and proper reporting.
- Develop, refine and manage the process for regular reporting on findings and coordinate with all schools / programmes for the dissemination of information.
- Synthesize and analyze data for summary and thematic reports on M&E findings.
- Regularly review and improve the M&E system by seeking stakeholder inputs and through consultations with School and Programme Heads.
- Build capacity of school leaders and school based personnel in preparing progress reports, analyzing them followed by corrective actions to meet the desired school objectives.
- Undertake field visits on periodic basis, to ensure compliance with operational procedures and validate the school progress as projected by the M&E system.
- Foster and coordinate partnerships for independent, external assessments to attain good quality, third-party evaluation studies.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in M&E and network with other organizations for best practices and technical assistance.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- At least 7-10years of experience in school leadership role.
- Bachelor degree in any discipline with qualification in Education.
- Thorough understanding of key performance indicators in a school environment.
- Proven experience and expertise in operating rigorous monitoring, evaluation, assessment and tracking processes.
- Strong people management skills and the ability to contribute as a member of the management team.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of database management.
